11/6: Homeschool Hangout (Harris County Public Library, Hamilton)
This month our special guest is WTVM Chief Meteorologist Derek Kincade! Learn all about weather patterns, forecasting, and how to stay safe during severe weather. This fun and educational program is perfect for homeschoolers curious about the science behind the storms.

11/11: Homeschool Play Day (Chuck E Cheese, Columbus)
On the 2nd Tuesday of every month, join us for Homeschool Play Days! From open – 4pm, score 90-minutes of All You Can Play games, a reusable Play Pass card, unlimited soft drinks, and all the E-Tickets you can earn on gameplay for just $11.99 per kid. A savings of up to $30 off! Simply arrive at your Fun Center and tell a cast member you’re there for Homeschool Play Day to receive this offer.
11/11: Tuesdays in the Field (Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta)
Each new year has brought amazing, aquatic adventures for our very own Georgia Aquarium. For our 20th birthday, join us in celebrating the visions that have excited and inspired through the years, from building one of Atlanta’s biggest homes to developing manta ray hats and even sequencing whale shark DNA. You’re invited to celebrate the innovations of the past two decades and fantasize about what the future could bring.
11/11: Majestic Caverns Homeschool Day (Majestic Caverns, Childersburg, AL)
Make your child’s learning come alive and feel like a hero as they both learn and have fun. Explore the depths of our cavern, engage in above ground fun and even have an underground classroom for an unforgettable experience.
11/12: Homeschool Hangout (Hogansville Public Library, Hogansville)
Come by and learn about the trials and tribulations that the Pilgrims went through coming to the New World. We'll talk about the first Thanksgiving. Then we will talk about how it came to be celebrated in modern times. We will also be making a craft to add to your Thanksgiving display!
11/12,13,14,18,19,20: Arts in Education performance: THE LEAVES ARE FALLING (Springer Opera House, Columbus)
In this Theatre for the Very Young production, our “littlest” theatre-goers can participate in an interactive story about the way the seasons change that encourages confidence and emotional growth. When Jitters the squirrel’s parents, Peanut and Whiskers begin collecting acorns for the Winter, she notices something peculiar happening to all the leaves. They are falling to the ground! The trees are empty, it’s cold, and it’s getting dark way too early! Our “littlest” audience members will help Jitters realize that everything is going to be okay by identifying the seasons and regulating her big emotions. Arrive early to enjoy our pre-show activities.
11/13: Budding Naturalist (Columbus Botanical Garden, Columbus)
Fungi Fun: Unearth the secrets of mushrooms in this exciting class at CBG! Kids will dive into the mysterious world of fungi, exploring how mushrooms grow and interact with their surroundings. Through engaging activities and outdoor explorations, they’ll learn to identify different mushroom species, understand their vital role in ecosystems, and discover the fascinating connections between fungi, plants, and the environment.
11/14: American Frontier HOMESCHOOL DAY (FD Roosevelt State Park , Pine Mountain)
10am-2pm, Walk through time from the mid 1700s to late 1800s. Talk with local historians, watch life skill demonstrations, and MORE!!!
11/18: Painted Wooden Turkeys (Aglow Apothecary + Healing Haven, Columbus)
Paint + build your holiday turkey while learning Thanksgiving
11/20: Homeschool Day (Atlanta History Museum, Atlanta)
Explore the ways that people remember cherished moments in life and even impactful stories throughout history. We’ll discover how communities capture the world around them and even become inspired to create our own mementos.
11/20: Homeschool STEAM Day (The Biblical History Center, Lagrange)
STEAM are a fun way for children to learn about daily life in the ancient world, through science and the arts! Each STEAM Day will consist of a snack, a lesson, and a craft or activity. These programs are created to best suit children aged 6-12, but older and younger children are welcome to attend.
11/25: Pizza Party + Play Day (Aglow Apothecary + Healing Haven, Columbus)

12/2,3,9,17: Arts in Education performance: DISNEY'S FROZEN (Springer Opera House, Columbus)
In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. From mini coding robots and water fueled cars, to magnificent mathematical makings – STEAM has more to it than it seems. Hack into the world of technology to get hands-on experiences as we explore all the STEAM world has to offer.
12/12: The Nutcracker (RiverCenter for the Performing Arts)
Experience the magic & Holiday tradition - The Columbus Ballet presents its 2025 The Nutcracker. Join Clara and the Nutcracker Prince to the Land of Snow, an enchanted forest where they dance with all the other toys who have come to life. Perfect for all ages, this Holiday classic offers families a night to truly celebrate the season.
12/18: Homeschool Day (Atlanta History Museum, Atlanta)
Come with us as we journey to the highest mountain, the depths of the sea, the most remote islands and more! This is one unique trip around the world you’ll remember!

Homeschool P.E. (Sky Zone, Columbus)
P.E. Break at Sky Sky Zone, Fridays 1pm-3pm // Only $10 per HomeSchool Student (not available during School breaks and Holidays) Discounted jump prices specifically for Homeschool students. Take a break from the books and get some awesome, healthy exercise in on a consistent basis. Not valid during school breaks (i.e., Summer) Discounted prices offered for all HomeSchool students of any age. Every Weekday during the school year between 1pm – 3pm.
