Here’s what’s coming up in September:
9/9: Homeschool Play Day (Chuck E Cheese, Columbus)
On the 2nd Tuesday of every month, join us for Homeschool Play Days! From open – 4pm, score 90-minutes of All You Can Play games, a reusable Play Pass card, unlimited soft drinks, and all the E-Tickets you can earn on gameplay for just $11.99 per kid. 9/9: Tuesdays in the Field (Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta)
Though the ocean is vast and deep, its inhabitants have a schedule to keep. From the rhythm of the reefs to modern marine mammals, life relies on the cycles of life. From night to day or Winter to Spring, time has a role in everything. Crack open the time capsule of our seas, and witness the wonders of the series of creatures and eons that define our oceans.
9/9: Majestic Caverns Homeschool Day (Majestic Caverns, Childersburg, AL)
Make your child’s learning come alive and feel like a hero as they both learn and have fun. Explore the depths of our cavern, engage in above ground fun and even have an underground classroom for an unforgettable experience.
9/11: Budding Naturalist (Columbus Botanical Garden, Columbus)
FALLing for Nature! Explore leaves, acorns and autumn seeds with us at the Columbus Botanical Garden. We will be celebrating the beginning of fall through hands-on activities, nature walks and storytime to celebrate the season’s changes!
9/11,9/18,9/25: Homeschool Series: Fungus Files (Lakepoint State Park, Eufaula, AL)
Explore fungi through hands-on activities each week in Sept! For ages 5–12. Learn, play and discover the fungus among us
9/17: Homeschool Hangout (Hogansville Public Library, Hogansville)
Come join us as Maria shares her love of music and her understanding of musical instruments with us. All ages welcome!
9/18: Homeschool Day: Let’s Take a Walk (Atlanta History Museum, Atlanta)
Discover the Piedmont region through our gardens at AHC and become encouraged to connect with nature. Through hands-on activities and outdoor exploration, we’ll engage with how our environment impacts society and is shaped by people and their activities. After the fun, your ticket includes access to the rest of the museum, including Goizueta Children's Experience, the farm, and more!
9/25: Homeschool STEAM Day (The Biblical History Center, Lagrange)
STEAM are a fun way for children to learn about daily life in the ancient world, through science and the arts! Each STEAM Day will consist of a snack, a lesson, and a craft or activity. These programs are created to best suit children aged 6-12, but older and younger children are welcome to attend.

10/2: Homeschool Hangout (Harris County Public Library, Hamilton)
Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with us at "Homeschool Hangout: Mid-Autumn Festival & Mooncakes"! Join Ms. Alexia for a fun and educational program where she will introduce you to the traditions of this special festival celebrated in Chinese culture. Best of all, you'll learn how to make your very own delicious mooncakes!
10/6: Homeschool & Small Group Day (Oakhurst Farm, West Point)
HOMESCHOOL & SMALL GROUP DAY at Oakhurst Farm has been scheduled for MONDAY, October 6th, from 9AM-NOON ET! We welcome ALL of our local homeschool families, co-ops and small group organizations to visit for a fun-filled, one-of-a-kind FARM experience! NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED, just provide your homeschool/co-op/small organization info at check-in, and you’re all set! Yes, Independent homeschoolers are welcomed, as well!
10/10: Fall Field Day (Columbus Botanical Garden, Columbus)
Get outside during Fall Break at CBG’s Fall Field Day. This fun and educational celebration of the season will include hands-on nature activities, garden games and harvest themed learning stations. Fun for the whole family!

While stories and lore helped ancient civilizations explain things they couldn’t comprehend, science has sliced the veil between fact and fiction. Join us as we continue to explore the untold wonders of our world and delve into the legends that shaped our fears and fantasies of the depths.

10/14: Homeschool Discovery Day (Columbus Botanical Garden, Columbus)
Students will journey through the garden's weirdest, grossest, and most mind-blowing mysteries. From bug-eating plants and rotting logs crawling with decomposers to uncovering the secret night life of plants, this field trip uncovers nature’s wildest survival tricks.

Homeschool P.E. (Sky Zone, Columbus)
P.E. Break at Sky Sky Zone, Fridays 1pm-3pm // Only $10 per HomeSchool Student (not available during School breaks and Holidays) Discounted jump prices specifically for Homeschool students. Take a break from the books and get some awesome, healthy exercise in on a consistent basis. Not valid during school breaks (i.e., Summer) Discounted prices offered for all HomeSchool students of any age. Every Weekday during the school year between 1pm – 3pm.
